Afternoon Talks 2023

Afternoon Talks have been arranged to take place in the Cathedral Visitors Centre on Tuesday 7th and 21st this November, starting at 2.45 pm, with refreshments available from 2.oo pm. Prior booking for these free talks is not necessary-just turn up! On 7th November Interim Dean Simon will be speaking about his time here at the Cathedral. There will also be a report from our association’s representatives who attended the recent conference of the Friends of Cathedrals, Abbeys and Greater Churches at Hereford Cathedral. The talk on 21st November, entitled 'Close Encounters of an Ecclesiastical Kind’ will be given by John Campbell, retired Dean's Verger. Another talk will be taking place on 6th February 2024-details to follow.
